There was a lot of text all at once with some jokes smattered in. It might have been easier to understand for me if the information was more concise and with less jokes (saving those for later in the shorter text bits) but that's more of a personal preference.

Really cute art style and love the visual novel bit. Didn't seem like there was a lose condition, which made me care about nothing but the visual novel. Would have liked to understand better when each minigame was set to start/end, mainly because transitioning into the visual novel from either mouse-controlled game sometimes caused me to skip it, and as stated before I was really into reading more of that visual novel.

Love this as a proof of concept for what has the potential to be a great mechanic with a nice aesthetic on top.

After figuring out the controls, this game was pretty cool. I dig that you can impact the enemies as well as the main character to play defensively. Pacing could have been a tad faster but overall I enjoyed the gameplay.

I was stuck on this for a while too. You can control any on-screen character, so you have to click the character you want to impact before you can issue a command.

Interesting idea, though I think the vagueness of the goals and tough maneuvering toe the line between intentionally difficult and just frustrating. Would be interested in seeing where this mechanic could go with more development time.

Cool concept. I liked the randomness of both the plant growth and where the farmers ended up going. A lot of mechanics to take in at the start, but pretty fun once I got the hang of it.

A cool idea to use input delay as the core out of control feature, but the novelty wore off pretty quickly. I think the mechanic has potential to be really fun with some additional types of challenges and enemies.

Really interesting narrative concept, and despite the simple art it really communicated the feeling of waiting for something you can't control, and wandering to find anything to distract yourself. Some weird text bugs kept me from reading all the text from interactions but overall, nice work.

Liked the old-school vibe, but a lack of explanation of controls or the goal made this not so engaging.

The presentation gave me mini-ftl vibes, but the gameplay turned out to be more like warioware. It was really tough to tell what was going on and what I needed to do to not die, but at least the timer helped communicate how long I had to survive until the next threat. A pretty fun little game with a cool idea.

I don't really understand what the concept is supposed to be. I expected the game to end after a set time or the enemies to eventually win, but there didn't seem to be a lose condition, health, or even a way to make the bullets do anything. I like the idea of there being nothing you can do, but that alone doesn't make for a fun or interesting game.

An alright idea for the theme, but the randomness is too punishing to be fun. Some sort of indicator of what's about to happen or changes that help instead of harm the player could make the game less frustrating to play.

gm81 file requires game maker to run/build into an executable, so unfortunately I can't run it :(

I like the concept of customizing a pool of potential actions then having the one used be randomized (sort of like a deck-builder where you build a new deck every turn). I would have liked a bit more of an explanation of the mechanics before playing, but I think the idea has cool potential.

Really liked the art/presentation, and the matrix-like slowing mechanic to dodge cubes feels really satisfying.  The dash mechanic could use some fine tuning, but overall this was fun! The in-game tutorial also added a nice level of polish I haven't seen in any other jam games so far.

Cool art style, and I like the concept based on the submission description. However I would have liked an explanation of the goals in-game, since exploring took a lot of time with the controls and there's a time limit.

Love the art style and how the mechanics tie into the character's personality. Adorable!
